from Rose A.

In class the other day we started talking about Plato's idea of a place where
everything is perfect. He said that somewhere there is a perfect example of a
tree, a perfect example of a dog,..etc. Well, I believe that God loves all of
his creations very much. Do you think that it is possible that these perfect
examples are in heaven? I know that dogs and trees can't be in heaven because
they don't have eternal souls. However, maybe God placed these perfect examples
in heaven before the fall. Just something for ya'll to think about...

I didn't really explain poor old Plato very well, but here is a website that gives you a better idea of who he was and what he was talking about.

Rose has a good point here, and one that has been written about by greater minds than mine.
